DULUTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WELCOMES NON-STOP SUN COUNTRY AIRLINES SERVICE TO FORT MYERS FLORIDA

Duluth, MN – September 19, 2024 – The Duluth Airport Authority is thrilled to announce the return of direct flights from Duluth International Airport (DLH) to Fort Myers, Florida, (RSW) beginning January 31, 2025. This reinstated route promises to offer convenient travel options for passengers to travel to the beaches of Southwest Florida.
The direct service will operate on Monday’s and Friday’s departing DLH at 7:00 pm and arriving at RSW at 11:35 pm, and departing RSW at 3:05 pm arriving at DLH at 5:50 pm. This schedule is designed to provide travelers with optimal flexibility and seamless connections between the popular leisure destination of Fort Myers, Florida.
“We are excited to welcome Sun Country back with this direct route to Fort Myers, which has been a favorite among leisure travelers for its convenience” said Tom Werner, Duluth Airport Authorities’ Executive Director. “If the route is to expand its season in Duluth going forward, we as a community must demonstrate demand to do so.”
The resumption of this seasonal route comes in response to strong demand for travelers seeking direct access to Southwest Florida.
