Duluth Airport Authority to Host Air Traffic Control Tower Open House
Duluth, MN – April 20, 2026 – The Duluth Airport Authority (DAA) will be hosting a project open house on April 29, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Duluth International Airport located at 4701 Grinden Drive. There will be a brief presentation starting promptly at 6:15 p.m.
This open house will provide an overview of the Air Traffic Control Tower construction project and offer an opportunity for community members to learn more about the construction activities and anticipated impacts. Presentation topics include but are not limited to:
- Overall construction schedule
- Traffic control and logistics
- Site plan
- Contractor parking
- General work hours
- Disruption avoidance
Construction for this project is underway and expected to be completed in 2028. This project will enhance airfield safety and security for all employees and travelers.
All community members, nearby residents, and airport stakeholders interested in learning more about the project are welcome to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with project staff. No RSVP is required and parking for attendees will be validated.
