Duluth Airport Authority Recognizes Board and Staff Members

The Duluth Airport Authority is proud to recognize one of our outstanding board members and two dedicated staff members for their years of service. Thank you to board member Elissa, and staff members Dan and Kathy, for your commitment and dedication to the Duluth Airport.

The Duluth Airport Authority recognized Director Elissa Hansen for six years of dedicated service to the Airport Board of Directors. Elissa’s extensive knowledge and expertise has contributed greatly to the strategic direction of Duluth’s airports and the Airport Authority. We wish Elissa well as she continues her work as the President and CEO of Northspan.

Congratulations to Dan Taylor, Duluth Airport Authority Maintenance Supervisor, for celebrating 25 years of service with the organization. Dan leads the Airport Authority’s airfield fleet maintenance department. Dan’s dedication and work ethic are second to none. Thank you Dan! 

The Duluth Airport Authority congratulates Kathy Leon on her retirement after 26 years of dedicated service to the DAA. Kathy has been an instrumental part of our Finance Department during a transformational period within the organization. She is looking forward to traveling, spending time with grandkids, and enjoying the outdoors. Thank you Kathy for your service to the Airport and the people we serve!
